No recordings available

It is the intention of this retreat that everyone will practice together from their own location. The retreat and teachings are offered live, and will not be available for listening later via audio or video, nor by delayed broadcast.

Preparing for a home retreat

This retreat is held in the spirit of commitment. Though we may not be with each other physically, we practice simultaneously as a group. Meditating together in this way brings great blessings.

Throughout the whole day, during the formal sessions of the retreat as well as in every moment, we can commit to hold awareness. This commitment is aided by participating in all sessions, turning off messages, and preparing your retreat environment. Please read Retreat at Home for more recommendations.

Preparing your computer to join Zoom

Zoom app: Please download the Zoom app prior to the event, so that you can be sure to participate. Zoom’s FAQ includes a download link and instructions.

Bandwidth: Check that you have at least 5 Mbps download speeds by visiting fast.com to test your connection. If you have concerns about your capacity, it helps to be in the same room as your WiFi router or to plug into it via Ethernet if possible.

If you don't have enough bandwidth or an up-to-date computer, you can use a Zoom phone number to join the retreat with audio only. There is no option to participate in the retreat other than joining Zoom (either by device or phone) during the time teaching is given. Delayed broadcast will not be provided, audio and video recordings will not be available.

IMPORTANT: Your Zoom link

Registered attendees will receive email with a Zoom link.

Please contact us at dzogchen@abhayafellowship.org if you do not receive an Eventbrite confirmation email within a few minutes of registering, as that may indicate we have an incorrect email address or your email security is diverting our emails.

You’ll also find the Zoom link in the Retreat Guide (email), and on Eventbrite’s Online Event page; these will be updated a week before the retreat starts.
