Taking Happiness and Sorrow as the Path
Anam Thubten and Chakung Jigme Wangdrak Rinpoche
Saturday & Sunday, October 30 and 31, 2021
10 am - 12:30 pm; 2 pm-4:30 pm PDT (via Zoom Webinar)
While life’s circumstances are not always under our control, we have the ability to decide what to do with them and bring them into a more enlightened context. In this way, almost everything that happens to us can be turned into the path of love, compassion, and even inner liberation. There is a set of teachings and practices in Tibetan Buddhism regarding this called kyid dug lam khyer (W: skyid sdug lam khyer): turning happiness and suffering into the path. Anam Thubten and Chakung Jigme Wangdrak Rinpoche will teach on this traditional wisdom in the context of today’s contemporary life.
