Phowa is a sacred practice that prepares for transference of consciousness to the heart of Amitabha Buddha and rebirth in Sukhavati at the time of death. It is a profound method that allows ordinary beings, even those with heavy karma, to achieve liberation through forceful means. With the instruction and guidance of a qualified lama who holds pure lineage, phowa is easy to accomplish compared to other practices. The opportunity to hear such sublime teachings is extremely precious.
One must have received formal Buddhist refuge vows in order to attend.
Streaming will be provided for those who are ill or unable to travel.
All are encouraged to attend in person if possible.
